Job Summary
Manage the established Quality Management System by providing continual updates, recommending improvements, and ensuring compliance with Product Food Safety programs such as HACCP and Master Cleaning. Conduct safety observations, coordinate third-party product testing, and lead GMP audits while driving preparation for external regulatory audits including BRCGS and GFSI. Own trace exercises, manage product disposition for nonconforming items, and maintain the calibration program through documentation updates and service scheduling. Train production teams on quality systems, construct quality alerts, and compile detailed reports on process errors and customer complaints. Work Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 3:00pm in the E-Shift.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in a quality function within a production environment
- GMP acumen
- Excellent writing skills that will include writing reports, business correspondence, procedures, and work instructions
- Strong communication, presentation, and team-building skills
- Microsoft Office, Statistical Software, and some programming experience
- Statistical methods and Process improvement techniques (SPC.)
- Knowledge of manufacturing lab practices and test procedures
- Maintain the ability to work a flexible schedule to support improvement efforts across shifts for brief periods of time during projects
Desired Qualifications
- College degree is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Food Service industry quality auditing is preferred
