Quality Lead - Hardware Engineering

Job Summary
Lead and deliver quality assurance across Advanced Sensing hardware, owning supplier quality for Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors through audits and performance management. Manage team development, execute root cause analyses for quality incidents, and enforce testing and validation processes to ensure products meet international standards like CE, FCC, and IEC. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing process effectiveness and reporting metrics to senior stakeholders on risks and remediation plans. Represent quality in cross-functional forums to align resolution actions and support audit compliance within the organization's Quality Management System. Ensure all systems, materials, and products maintain consistency and reliability for critical renewable energy infrastructure worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior quality role within hardware, electronics engineering or manufacturing environments
- Experience managing and developing teams
- Strong track record in supplier quality management
- Demonstrated experience leading root cause analysis, defect reduction and quality incident management
- Experience establishing and maintaining testing, validation and product approval processes
- Strong understanding of quality standards, regulatory requirements and quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, CE/FCC)
- Experience operating with visibility at senior stakeholder level
- Strong analytical capability with experience assessing process and system effectiveness and driving continuous improvement
- Ability to operate with a high degree of ownership and leadership, influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Some exposure to working at a global level
- Experience supporting products used within the renewable energy, industrial technology or engineering sectors
