Job Summary
Quality Lab Technician I at Viaflex supports manufacturing quality by interpreting drawings/blueprints, performing verification and testing of raw materials and finished products to specifications, maintaining documentation of inspection data, calibrating and assisting with testing equipment, training production staff on testing tools, and contributing to ISO-aligned quality management initiatives. This role involves working with production teams to resolve quality issues, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to quality standards across rotating days. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least some related quality experience; proficiency with Word and Excel, ability to read blueprints, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills are important.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ related experience in quality preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Team player with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
- Experience in a production environment helpful
- Physical ability to sit/stand/bend/reach
- Ability to perform testing and inspection according to specifications
