Quality Lab Technician

Job Summary
Define and document procedures for laboratory inspection activities including manual measurements, optical and CMM operation, programming, and calibration to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Perform control plan inspections, equipment programming, and test methods while supporting product and process audits across incoming, manufacturing, and outgoing stages. Maintain calibration records for all gauges and measuring equipment, conduct capability studies where required, and retain documented evidence for material approval and customer requests. Identify and support resolution of material and manufacturing process problems while contributing to continuous improvement in physical and metallurgical measurements. Requires at least five years of experience in manufacturing quality labs, interpretation of drawings, and knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 and ISO/IEC 17025 environments.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant laboratory experience
- Interpretation of drawings and specifications
- Experience with laboratory equipment, programming, processes, and various inspection techniques
- Experience with SPC techniques
- Knowledge of production processes, materials, and parts
- Experience working in ISO/TS 16949 and ISO/IEC 17025 environment
- High School Diploma
- At least five years of related experience in manufacturing quality lab and production
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
Desired Qualifications
- NDT experience is beneficial
