Job Summary
Conduct daily quality checks on customer products by cutting parts, mounting samples, and verifying coating weights and hardness. Perform titrations, microstructure checks, and furnace profiles while tracking chemical inventory and non-conforming product containment. Enter results, set up rework, and communicate part sampling frequency. Adhere to safety policies, proper PPE use, and the environment policy while acting with limited supervision. Requires an HS Diploma or GED and understanding of Aalberts Business Systems. Shift runs 3pm to 11pm.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Be able to act with limited supervision while gaining general instructions from their supervisor
- Strong communication skills
- Minimum experience requirements include an understanding of all equipment, processes and procedures for the operation and knowledge of all Aalberts Business Systems (Safety, 5S, AS400)
- Have a general understanding of all processes and procedures for the plant, including safety, quality, production and people
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in a manufacturing setting
- Past experience with a basic knowledge of heat treat principles, microstructures, hardness testing is preferred
