Quality Lab Analyst - 1st Shift - 10 Hours

Job Summary
Develop test methods and procedures to determine dimensional features of products while validating production inspections. Program and use CMM, Vision Systems, and Laser Scanning equipment to inspect molded components and assemblies for conformance to design requirements. Troubleshoot system malfunctions, optimize inspection methods, and compile measurement data using Excel or Minitab to assess process capability. Perform Gage R&R studies, identify non-conformances, and support corrective action investigations. Train colleagues on vision system and CMM operation, and manage gage calibration schedules. Work independently to ensure gauges are calibrated and stored properly.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years' related experience and/or training in quality
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, including ISO/ASME GD&T
- Demonstrates basic metrology knowledge
- Utilize trigonometry, geometry, statistics (in relation to SPC), and basic math problem-solving skills
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Demonstrated proficiency with a wide variety of measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gages, and others
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Must be able to work independently, handling multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to work effectively as a team player in a diverse work group
Desired Qualifications
- ASQ certification as a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, or Gage Calibration Technician
