Job Summary
Investigate abuse, neglect, and policy violations; coordinate with the Justice Center regarding reportable incidents and investigative activities; gather, review, and analyze records, video footage, and other evidence; conduct interviews with employees, individuals receiving services, families, witnesses, and other stakeholders; prepare thorough, objective investigative reports and findings; identify trends and systemic issues to support quality improvement; collaborate with Residential, Clinical, Nursing, Human Resources, and Leadership teams to support corrective action; assist with regulatory audits, compliance reviews, and quality assurance activities; monitor compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency policies while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Working knowledge of OPWDD regulations, incident management requirements, and quality assurance practices
- Experience conducting investigations, audits, compliance reviews, or similar fact-finding activities
- Strong report-writing, interviewing, and analytical skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between program locations
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Experience conducting investigations, audits, compliance reviews, or similar fact-finding activities
- Strong report-writing, interviewing, and analytical skills
- Experience working directly with OPWDD-certified programs (preferred)
- Familiarity with the Justice Center reporting and investigative process (preferred)
- Experience with electronic health records, incident management systems, and compliance tracking tools (preferred)
