Job Summary
Quality Inspector on a weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, onsite) in Wells, ME. Perform dimensional and visual inspections on parts, tools, and gauges using fixed and variable measuring instruments to verify conformance against drawings, engine manuals, and other approved data. Accept material or refer for rework based on findings, complete necessary paperwork, and maintain the inspection stamp. Review and follow work instructions, identify nonconformances, and coordinate repair or replacement of equipment as needed. Role supports continuous improvement and may require overtime; position offers training and comprehensive benefits within a blended work environment at Pratt & Whitney RTX.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Familiar with precision measuring equipment
- Communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer skills
- Basic Shop Math
