Job Summary
Quality Inspector responsible for 1st piece, post-plate, and final inspections per the quality plan, utilizing visual and mechanical inspection against customer drawings and specifications. Conducts measurements with calipers, microscopes, and vision inspection equipment (Keyence, Quick scope); performs calibration of measurement tools; generates Nonconformances and Corrective Action Reports; maintains accurate QA documentation, revisions, and QMS alignment; works with DTs from the QT-9 database and ABAS ERP system; demonstrates understanding of GD&T and basic print reading; familiar with thermal/shock/oven test equipment and related QA procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of basic print reading
- Knowledge of basic measuring equipment
- Computer skills
- Ability to read and understand basic business correspondence
- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to sit for extended periods, walk and carry product, ascend/descend stairs with load
- Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
- Attention to documentation and revision control
- Basic GD&T understanding
- Familiarity with quality control tools and equipment (microscope, vision inspection equipment)
- Experience with inspection equipment and QA processes
