Job Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing routine inspections of Unarco manufactured products, ensuring quality management systems are adhered to, and reporting product deviations. Essential duties include analyzing production schedules, inspecting raw materials and finished goods, utilizing measurement tools accurately, entering data for quality tracking, and maintaining quality documentation. Candidates must possess basic computer skills, the ability to interpret engineered drawings, and a strong attention to detail. A high school diploma or GED is preferred along with 1 year of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year in related work experience
- Basic computer skills, MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in the English language
- Self-starter and a team player
- Must have manual dexterity skills
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
- Monitors own work to ensure quality
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Unarco products and key quality attributes
- Knowledge about the Unarco production processes in the facility and how they affect product quality.
- Moderate to advanced experience in Excel or other database software to include report generation, pivot tables, charts, etc.
