Job Summary
Hands-on Quality Inspector on the manufacturing floor responsible for inspecting all incoming, in-process, and final products, maintaining part traceability, and completing inspection reports. Will work with PPE and safety procedures, operate material handling equipment (e.g., vacuum lift hoists, forklifts), and support production with occasional material handling and shipping/receiving duties. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 3 years of experience, and forklift certification (or willingness to certify within 1 month). Proficiency with metrology tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Tape Measures, Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges, Gage Blocks, Depth Gages, Taper Gages) and familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards are valued. First shift hours are 6am–4pm, with potential additional days/hours based on workload. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical certification or training in metallurgy, heat treatment, or aerospace manufacturing preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Forklift certified (or willing to become certified within 1 month of hire)
- Ability to read documents
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to use Micrometers, Calipers, Tape Measures, Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges, Gage Blocks, Depth Gages, Taper Gages
- Must maintain quality practices and safety
- Experience in material handling and shipping/receiving duties
- Aerospace Specifications a plus
