Job Summary
Quality Inspector to help develop our Quality Assurance department; responsibilities include setting up the quality lab, selecting test equipment and procedures for new products, integrating equipment to meet standards, verifying product compliance with customer requirements, documenting measurement results, and collaborating with production to resolve deviations. You will serve as the primary lab contact, manage CMM programming, ensure fixture preparation, conduct PPAP measurements and capability studies, coordinate equipment maintenance/calibration, and drive measurement-process improvements in a fast-growing, highly automated environment. Proficiency with CMM (Zeiss preferred), GD&T, MSA, and metrology fundamentals is required, along with strong communication and teamwork skills to support cross-functional efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Experience programming and operating CMM machines (Zeiss preferred)
- Deep understanding of GD&T and technical drawings (metric and imperial)
- Strong working knowledge of Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and capability studies
- Analytical, independent thinker with ownership mentality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
