Quality Inspector Sr.

Job Summary
Conduct audits, surveillance, and assessments to ensure quality process effectiveness across multiple trades. Coordinate third-party testing and perform advanced inspections of materials, welds, and structural assemblies per ITPs and standards like AWS D1.1 and AISC. Interface with clients, regulators, and internal teams during walkdowns while managing project quality records, nonconformance reports, and corrective actions. Mentor junior inspectors and lead the development of Quality Control and Inspection Test Plans. Perform root cause analysis for significant issues and support quality metrics reporting. Requires 7+ years of experience, knowledge of codes such as ASME and API, and ability to work various shifts including swing, night, and weekends while wearing personal protective equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of quality inspection experience in construction, heavy civil, infrastructure, industrial, or fabrication environments
- Deep knowledge of applicable codes and standards (AWS, AISC, ASME, API, ASTM, ACI, ICC, ISO)
- Demonstrated experience with complex QA/QC processes, welding and bolting inspections, and structural/mechanical systems
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (including but not limited to; steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
- Ability to lift, push or pull objects up to 50Ibs on an occasional basis
- Will work various shifts, including swing, night and weekend
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related technical discipline preferred
