Job Summary
Conduct detailed mechanical, receiving, and in-process inspections of electrical and mechanical components using tools like calipers, microscopes, and micrometers. Interpret engineering drawings to establish inspection criteria, identify non-conformances, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues. Verify supplier documentation and maintain accurate records while preparing quality reports for management. Monitor production lines for compliance with established procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Proficient in cleanroom best practices and computer software for documentation. Full-time Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and reporting
- Proficient in cleanroom best practices
- Must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment Background and Drug Screen
Desired Qualifications
- Technical degree or certification in quality inspection, manufacturing technology, or a related field
