Job Summary
Inspect, test, repair and organize returned kitchen appliances, checking for quality and condition of returned appliances and product; receive returned merchandise and follow return procedures; distribute items to proper locations; pick and pull open-box returns for will-call and online customers; document damage notes with photos and in internal systems; identify recurring quality issues and report to management; serve as the internal point of contact for returned merchandise and become familiar with product technicalities; maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment; support team goals with other tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in returns / quality control / inspections
- 1+ years of prior experience in returns or a distribution, warehouse, or other inventory handling environment
- Able to individually lift and maneuver up to 70 lbs frequently and repetitively
- Experience with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
- Proficient in working with smart phones to perform daily tasks (taking photos, sending emails)
- Forklift certified (plus but not required)
- Able to stand for long hours and move quickly on feet
- Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM (some overtime required)
