Job Summary
Quality Inspector responsible for inspecting materials and finished goods using calibrated measurement tools, performing First Article Inspections, in-process and finished-goods inspections, and communicating quality status to production and management. Must analyze quality data, decide certify/reject outcomes, and prepare documentation such as NCRs, Product Acceptance Records, Inspection Plans, and Quality Alerts. Requires experience with precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, pitch micrometers, CMMs, laser devices), ability to interpret engineering drawings with GD&T, and adherence to ISO-based quality systems. Cross-trained for other QA roles and capable of supporting audits and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) plus 1-2 years of experience in a Quality Technician/Inspector role or equivalent experience
- Ability to read and understand Safety Rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Forms etc.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and BOMs
- Ability to operate complex measuring equipment (Laser Measuring devices, CMMs)
- Ability to read hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages)
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Drive)
