Job Summary
Quality Inspector - Plant 3 will inspect trailers and components during sub-assembly and final assembly to ensure conformance with quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include monitoring manufacturing quality per company quality assurance standards, engineering drawings, and customer/regulatory guidelines; performing inspections on trailer assembly lines and sub-assemblies; operating inspection tools (brake test machines, light testers, ABS testers, tape measures, hand tools, etc.); documenting acceptance or rejection decisions and root-cause analysis; initiating corrective actions and maintaining daily reporting of units released; communicating quality concerns with assembly line managers and collaborating with manufacturing teams to support quality improvement; and adhering to safety policies, attending scheduled hours and overtime as required. Preferred education is high school diploma or equivalent; FHWA certification and mandatory recertification every two years; English fluency and strong communication; attention to detail and ability to identify root causes; training in measurement and inspection equipment; willingness to work on the manufacturing floor with safety in mind.
Required Qualifications

- FHWA (Federal Highway Administration) certification
- Recertification required every two years (mandatory)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
