Job Summary
Quality Inspector for manufacturing in the hydro-turbine sector who conducts dimensional, visual, and non-destructive testing (NDT) to verify products meet Engineering Design and customer requirements. Responsibilities include measuring with micrometers/calipers/pi tapes, performing Visual, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, and Ultrasonic tests, documenting inspection results, managing gauge calibration, sign-off of Inspection and Test Plans, training personnel to interpret acceptance criteria, and coordinating with supervision to ensure conformance prior to delivery. May require overnight travel for source inspections and audits; maintains records per ISO 9001:2015 and supports development of a strong Quality Culture.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or GED) or 3-6 months of related experience and training
- NDT Level II certification preferred
