Quality Inspector -- Mechanical

Job Summary
Read and interpret drawings and industry specifications to develop inspection criteria and maintain records. Perform inspections of mechanical parts using precision tooling and electrical cables/harnesses to ensure proper routing, splicing, crimping, and termination. Complete First Article Inspection documentation and calibrate tools/jigs per established procedures. Submit documentation for incomplete technical data or workmanship issues and ensure the adequacy of all inspection records. Requires six years of Quality Inspector experience, SolidWorks Inspection Module proficiency, and ability to obtain industry certifications within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency certificate
- Six years as a Quality Inspector in relevant area (mechanical or electrical)
- Two years' experience directly related to contract effort required
- Must be able to obtain required industry certifications/qualifications required of the position within 90 days of hire date
- Must be able to utilize SolidWorks Inspection Module to complete required inspection tasks and documentation within 90 days of hire date
