Job Summary
Quality Inspector will inspect mechanical components and assemblies from blueprints, engineering change notices, and established procedures, determine acceptance/rejection/rework, review FAI paperwork, and focus on precision within the mechanical cell. responsibilities include using complex measuring devices, interpreting workmanship standards (ES/EPS procedures), identifying non-conformances, inspecting in-process and finished parts, and contributing to continuous improvement. This is a full-time, on-site role in Kirkland, WA (1st shift) with a flexible hybrid work arrangement noted for eligible positions. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3+ years of relevant experience depending on level; proficiency in MS Excel and ability to learn AES FAI requirements; exposure to inspection of purchased parts, materials, and electronic hardware; familiarity with quality systems and procedures; and compliance with applicable export-controls and background/drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of direct experience for Quality Inspector
- 3+ years of direct experience for Senior Quality Inspector
- Proficiency with MS Excel
- Ability to learn AES FAI requirements
- Experience inspecting mechanical components and subassemblies
- Familiarity with blueprints and engineering change notices
- Ability to identify and write non-conformances
- Knowledge of quality assurance standards and procedures
