Quality Inspector Lead

Job Summary
Lead Quality Inspector responsible for maintaining productivity and quality standards for aerospace products. Oversees inspection assignments, guides operations on quality assurance issues, collaborates with manufacturing to address NCRs and implement rework solutions, documents inspection data and maintains traceability, interprets engineering drawings and uses tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, CMM) to perform thorough inspections, leads special process inspections (weld, paint, chemical film), proactively troubleshoots issues, and conducts internal audits to support the quality management system.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in quality inspection within the aerospace industry
- At least 2-3 years in a lead or supervisory role
- Proficient with inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, surface plates, and CMM
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication skills
- Physical capability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach, and lift up to 20 pounds
- Must pass vision acuity tests including near acuity and color vision tests
