Job Summary
Quality Inspector responsible for inspections, surveillance, and documentation to verify compliance with project specifications, procedures, and applicable codes during fabrication, construction, and installation activities. Primary duties include performing quality inspections of structural steel fabrication and erection, piping fabrication and installation, welding, bolting, and mechanical installation; verifying work against approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and project procedures; identifying and reporting rework and non-conforming issues; and coordinating with project teams to ensure adherence to safety, scheduling, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Self-starter with exceptional organization and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Oil & Gas and/or Power industrial construction, including structural steel and process piping
- Familiarity with AWS D1.1 / D1.5, ASME B31.1 / B31.3, ASME Sect. IX, AISC/RCSC, or other relevant codes and standards
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and quality procedures
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification is preferred
