Job Summary
Inspect OSV and purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and raw materials; conduct in-process, source, and first article inspections; verify product dimensions against blueprints and specifications; document discrepancies with Inspection Discrepancy Reports (IDRs); assist in writing and updating inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists; maintain a clean 5S work area; perform additional projects as assigned; aerospace-focused, with proficiency in reading blueprints and using Word/Excel; knowledge of ISO/NADCAP standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED; completion of an accredited apprenticeship or trade school program preferred
- 5 or more years in Quality Inspection
- Minimum five years' experience in dimensional tolerance inspection of aerospace products preferred
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, interpreting work instructions, and using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with ISO and/or NADCAP standards preferred
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations
