Job Summary
Inspect PCBs and assemblies, including backplanes and various card types, using micrometers, Vernier calipers, and pin gauges; perform visual and physical inspections per IPC-TM-650; verify finishes (Tin, Gold, Solder) meet specs; may cross-train in other departments and assist with First Article Inspections (FAIs); may require overtime for alternate shifts/weekends; read blueprints/customer drawings; use CMMs (Optek) as applicable; ensure safety and compliance with IPC-A-600 and military/commercial specs; candidate must be able to work in the United States and legally work per ITAR requirements; Amphenol offers competitive salary and benefits; apply online to APC881.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read blue prints / customer drawings
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to work standing for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs safely
- Understand basic IPC specification and military/commercial specs
- IPC-A-600 Certification
- Basic Computer experience - Microsoft Office-Outlook/Word/Excel
- 2+ Years PCB experience
