Quality Inspector II

Job Summary
Inspect molded components, sub-assemblies, finished assemblies, packaging, and labeling through receiving, in-process, final, and rework inspections. Complete and interpret Statistical Process Control Charts and histograms manually or via computer-aided methods. Inform production personnel of non-conforming material, aid in cause investigations, manage material containment, and follow up on corrective action effectiveness. Prepare logs, reports, and QC documentation while assisting with cross-training others. Train, monitor, and coordinate temporary labor and operators to achieve safety, quality, and plant goals. Requires 3+ years of manufacturing experience, training in multiple plant areas, and ability to read quality specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Safety and quality Conscious
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a high-volume production environment
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret, quality specifications and inspection/control plans
- Ability to lead and train others
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude
- Basic Computer knowledge (MS Office, PeopleSoft/MRP Systems, Database entry, etc.)
- Flexibility
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual English and Spanish
- Good understanding of handheld measurement tools usage
