Job Summary
Quality Inspector II responsible for routine and repetitive inspection procedures to ensure quality levels throughout production. Visually inspects sub-assemblies and HLA level products using magnification or other tools, and applies lot sampling methods or 100% inspection. Participates in root cause analysis to identify causes of quality issues; maintains standardized quality records; ensures adherence to 5S standards; may supervise work areas per guidelines. Requires IPC-A-610/IPC-A-620 certification or equivalent, and at least a middle-school certificate with 1 year of related manufacturing experience (2+ years preferred). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and willingness to complete QA certification within six months of employment. Travel Less than 40%.
Required Qualifications
- Middle school certificate required
- One year of related experience in manufacturing process
- Two or more years of related experience preferred
- Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing process (SMT, Backend) and HLA product builds
- Advanced electronic manufacturing experience
- IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 certification or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math
