Job Summary
Perform first piece, in process, and final inspections with authority to stop production if parts fail specifications. Read print drawings and sampling plans, then document sample parts into the Quality Lab tracking system. Review lab test results to verify operations and issue production gages to the manufacturing floor. Sort parts in the lab as required and assist the Quality Engineer and Manager. Requires high school diploma, basic math skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency. Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 lbs. with occasional lifts to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Detail Oriented
- Basic Math Skills
- Has a sense of urgency and is proactive
- Knowledge of Microsoft office
- Must frequently lift/move and/or push/pull up to 20 lbs
- Must occasionally lift/move and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Close vision
- Distance vision
- Color vision
- Peripheral vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
