Job Summary
Quality Inspector II – Mechanical responsibilities include performing complex mechanical inspections of purchased parts, 3D-printed components, CNC-machined items, electro-mechanical components, and propulsion assemblies; conducting in-process and final assembly inspections; documenting non-conformances in ERP/MES systems; using hand measurement tools and CMM; collaborating with engineering/management to improve work instructions and identify critical inspection points; coordinating with Production to prioritize workload and meet delivery milestones; and upholding Built in Quality to prevent defects from reaching customers.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance role in a mechanical manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
