Job Summary
Inspect mechanical components and assemblies to ensure conformance to GD&T and manufacturing specifications. Perform precision inspections across receiving, in-process, and final assembly stages using hand measurement tools, CMMs, and vision systems. Thoroughly document non-conformances in ERP/MES systems and collaborate with engineering and production to improve work instructions and identify critical inspection points. Maintain Built in Quality by consistently detecting non-conformances and preventing defects from progressing downstream, while helping the team meet key delivery milestones.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in quality assurance in a mechanical manufacturing environment
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) experience
- High school diploma or GED
