Job Summary
Inspect raw materials and products visually, and with gauges, scales, or measurement instruments per work instructions; segregate non-conforming parts or material; complete required documentation and perform data entry of work results; conduct final inspections to reconcile outgoing shipments; may identify causes of non-conformance; role on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery; safety sensitive with pre-employment drug testing. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems
- Ability to learn correct use of basic measurement instruments (tape measure, scales, gauges)
- Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to accurately inspect basic material, commodities, and/or processes
