Job Summary
Conduct accurate inspections of incoming material, in-process parts, and finished goods to identify deviations and designate hold stations. Sort nonconforming material per QE instructions, create DMRs in EPICS, and coordinate containment based on dimensional results. Read part prints, measure correlating parts, and maintain quality standards during material reviews and audits. Communicate with production personnel to resolve inspection questions and provide input for method improvements. Complete accurate records for continuous improvement and perform general housekeeping duties. This night shift position requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds in humid, loud conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years of related experience and/or training
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment
- Consistently exhibits a positive, respectful attitude towards co-workers and customers
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available
- Regular attendance required
