Quality Inspector I

Job Summary
Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final product inspections to verify compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards. Stop production immediately when nonconforming parts or processes are identified. Read and interpret blueprints, sampling plans, and laboratory test results while documenting findings in the Quality Lab tracking system. Maintain and track production gauges, perform sorting and containment activities, and assist with quality investigations. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures in a manufacturing environment. Requires high school diploma, precision measuring instrument skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Located in Easton, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Basic math skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining high quality standards
- Regularly stand and walk throughout the workday
- Frequently use hands for handling, reaching, grasping, and fine manipulation
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Must possess close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color vision, with or without corrective lenses that meet required safety standards
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while following all required safety procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges
- Familiarity with reading engineering drawings and GD&T
