Job Summary
Inspect job-specific product in real-time at the machine using blueprint reading, specification interpretation, and GD&T to determine conformity with engineering definitions. Perform first part buy-off, in-process, and final inspections while documenting non-conformances in the ERP system for MRB. Develop inspection procedures, make setups, and assist less experienced employees while adhering to the company's Quality Management System, safety protocols, and Demgy 5S program. Support internal quality audits and contribute to process improvements within the aerospace manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong familiarity with and understanding of drawing interpretation and inspection techniques
- Ability to read and understand Customers Specifications
- Ability to read & understand aerospace drawings for plastic parts
- Ability to inspect molded parts utilizing conventional machine shop inspection tools
- Understanding of GD&T
- Understanding of AS9102 FAIR
- High School education (or equivalent) with a strong mathematical background
- Previous experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in a quality or inspection role
- Good communication, reading, reporting, and computers skills in MS Office (using Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Desired Qualifications
- Training and experience with programming and running coordinate measurement systems (PC-DMIS with and without CAD models)
- Boeing's EID system: essential information search function
- Training and Experience in Internal Quality Auditing
- Previous experience with ERP/MRP software
- Undergraduate (associate) degree or higher
