Job Summary
Quality Inspector I at Bausch + Lomb is responsible for performing statistical-sampling visual and functional inspections of finished goods and contract products manufactured/distributed by the Greenville site, documenting results in QA batch records or Receiving Inspection Reports, and supporting decisions on nonconforming products and issue resolution. The role includes assisting with investigation and documentation of process issues, maintaining retain samples, and providing QA support to manufacturing operations. Required: High School Diploma, Pallet Jack and Fork Lift training, 2-3 years of manufacturing or inspection experience, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP/Document management tools (ERPLX, Documentum); strong written/verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to work unsupervised. Location: Greenville, SC, USA. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; the employer does not sponsor visas.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Pallet Jack and Fork lift training
- 2-3 years manufacturing or inspection experience
- Prior exposure to visual and dimensional inspection
- Experience with balances and dimensional tools (preferred)
