Quality Inspector I - 2nd Shift (Contract Position)

Job Summary
Inspect aircraft seats and interior products for conformance with government and company standards, performing dimensional and visual inspections against drawings and customer specifications. Read technical information from work instructions and drawings, then use inspection tools to detect unsafe conditions and prepare technical reports for engineering analysis. Complete First Article and Non-Conformance Reports, fill out squawk reports in PowerPoint, and maintain electronic inspection document files. Interact with multiple departments to discuss quality findings and support preventive and corrective actions analysis. Requires a high school diploma, 0-3 years of experience, and assembly work plus two years in inspection.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Technician Role requiring Intermediate Skills
- Generally 0-3 years of experience in area of responsibility
- Assembly work experience
- Two years inspection experience in a production environment
- Ability to read technical documents and interprets the information - metric system
- Understand procedures, acting in problem solving, suggesting improvements
- Safety and operating procedures for power-on aircraft
- Application and use of precision measurement instruments and test equipment's
- Team worker
