Quality Inspector

Job Summary
Ensure the quality of products and processes through meticulous inspection and adherence to established standards. Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to specifications, blueprints, and quality control plans. Utilize measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) accurately. Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or products; initiate corrective actions. Maintain inspection records, collaborate with production and engineering to investigate root causes, and participate in development and improvement of QC procedures. Conduct first-article inspections and provide feedback on new product introductions. Adhere to safety regulations and quality management system requirements; assist in internal and external quality audits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree in a technical field preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing or electronics
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Experience with measurement tools and techniques (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Basic understanding of quality control principles (AQL, SPC)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
