Job Summary
Quality Inspector responsible for incoming, in-process and final dimensional, visual and functional inspections on aerospace turbine components, following written procedures. Performs AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports and documents data. Interfaces with aerospace engineering for work instruction/router improvements, generates NCRs, and reviews paperwork throughout the inspection process. Uses precision measuring equipment, operates small cranes to move equipment, parts, and material, and adheres to Environmental Health and Safety regulations in a fast-paced environment. Other duties as assigned, requiring accuracy, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Complete Specific on-the-job training towards meeting essential duties and work area performance criteria
- Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM’s EHS Training Matrix
- 3+ years of inspection experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience with interpretation of technical drawings or work instructions
- Basic knowledge of MS Office programs, SAP, and time keeping applications
- Must be detail orientated
