Job Summary
Receive incoming materials from vendors, customers, or other warehouses by verifying quantities against packing lists and processing UPS shipments with correct postage and customer instructions. Perform mechanical and visual inspections on hardware, fasteners, fabrications, and electrical products, including AQL sample lot inspections of drawing characteristics and checking supplier documentation for conformance. Document, tag, control, and segregate product using controlled stamps for acceptance and certificate accuracy while managing QC equipment calibration and non-conforming material cages. Support internal and external ISO audits by initiating discrepancy reports and hold notices, ensuring adherence to ISO facility clauses and work instructions.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- valid driver's license
- previous inspection or quality control experience
- ability to stand continuously
- ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted
- repetitive use of hands/manual dexterity
- ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
- ability to organize and prioritize job tasks
- Associate Degree/Trade School (2 yr. min.) in Quality/Material Composition, Non-Destructive testing or equivalent program
- 2-years work experience in Industrial or Distribution environment or equivalent experience
- Familiar with interpretation of engineering drawings / specifications, and manufacturing process evaluation
- Previous ISO Quality Systems experience
- Previous Global Company experience
- Quality Certification
- Statistics training & experience
- Working Knowledge of and application of UL/CE/CSA/IEC/ASTN/ANSI and other relevant Global Regulatory Codes
