Job Summary
Perform quality inspection of electromechanical components as part of SQA’s national inspection team. Responsibilities include conducting visual, physical, and dimensional inspections (in-process and final), incoming inspections from external providers, witness inspections with CMM programs, and compiling inspection packages and non-conformance reports. Verify inspection equipment capability, ensure compliance with drawings and FAI documentation, review and validate FAI, and ensure products meet specified standards. Requires hands-on experience with inspection tools, GD&T interpretation, CMM operation, and ITAR compliance. Part-time contract role (1 year) in Seattle, WA with hourly compensation $30–$35, depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4+ years of experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role
- Experience with FAI, PO, COC and Process certification documentation
- Extensive experience with dimensional inspection of precision tolerance parts
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and ability to interpret complex drawings
- Experience with CMM and inspection tooling
- ITAR compliant
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- 制造/ASME Y-14.5 GD&T certification (preferred)
- 5 years in manufacturing with at least 2 years as a Mechanical Inspector (preferred)
- US citizenship or lawful permanent resident when ITAR applies
