Job Summary
Read and interpret drawings and industry specifications to develop inspection criteria and maintain records per established policies. Perform inspections of parts, components, cables, and harnesses using precision tooling to verify routing, splicing, crimping, soldering, and termination. Complete First Article Inspection documentation and calibrate tools and jigs as required. Submit documentation for incomplete technical data or workmanship issues and ensure the adequacy of all inspection records. Requires six years of relevant quality inspection experience and SolidWorks Inspection Module proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency certificate
- Six years as a Quality Inspector in relevant area (mechanical or electrical)
- Two years' experience directly related to contract effort required
- Must be able to obtain required industry certifications/qualifications required of the position within 90 days of hire date
- Must be able to utilize SolidWorks Inspection Module to complete required inspection tasks and documentation within 90 days of hire date
