Job Summary
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical, electrical, and electronic assemblies using GD&T, drawings, and precision measurement tools. Read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials while creating and maintaining inspection checklists and documentation. Identify, document, and contain nonconforming material; support DCMA inspections and verify configuration and serial number control. Train personnel on inspection standards and communicate results with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain. Maintain inspection records in quality systems and ensure a clean, safe inspection area. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of hands-on work experience in Quality part Inspections and assembly inspections
- Experience working with GD&T
- Must be able to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, talk, hear and see
- Must be able to stand/bend/kneel for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds through out the course of the workday
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
Desired Qualifications
- Welding Inspection experience
- Knowledge of MS Word, Access and Excel
- Understanding of Inventory numbering and product identification processes
- Detail oriented with strong follow through and organizational skills
- Able to multi-task and adapt to change quickly
- Experience working in Aerospace and Construction industries
- Aerospace experience
