Job Summary
Approve receiving inspections of materials from sub-tier suppliers and perform visual and dimensional inspections for in-process, completed parts, and core blanket assemblies against customer specifications. Utilize tools such as calipers, micrometers, and protractors to conduct First Piece, Lot, and Final inspections while interpreting blueprints and acceptance criteria. Tag and segregate nonconforming material, generate non-conformance reports, and process product releases into the SAP MRP database. Compile shipment paperwork and maintain inspection records in accordance with internal procedures and AS9102 standards. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, adhering to all safety rules and reporting unsafe conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of one (1) year of related experience and/or training
- Working knowledge of an MRP system
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access, Word, and Excel)
- Acceptable vision test results
- English reading, writing and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, write, and understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies
