Job Summary
Inspect machined components and assemblies for dimensional and visual quality using CMM equipment and Calypso software; perform first article and final inspections; interpret blueprints with GD&T per ASME/ANSI; operate CMM; generate NCRs; document inspection results; use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators; basic MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years’ + experience in Quality Inspection
- 5 years + of experience performing manual inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators
- Ability to interpret blueprints; GD&T experience per ASME/ANSI standards
- Experience with machined components in all phases of inspection, including receiving, first article, and final inspection
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience operating CMM equipment
- Proven experience with manual inspection techniques and tools
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Experience with receiving inspection requirements, including FA inspection, is a plus
