Quality Inspector

Job Summary
Inspect purchased parts, subassemblies, and finished products using standard physical, mechanical, and electrical measurements against defined criteria. Rework, teardown, or reject items as needed while conducting document process and system audits. Accurately document inspection results, generate scrap defective tags, and perform problem-solving and continuous improvement activities. Requires high school diploma, one to two years of manufacturing experience, and knowledge of AITF16949 standards. Works in a manufacturing environment with regular standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Travel to customer locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One -Two years of manufacturing experience
- understanding of competencies
- Ability to follow established procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of AITF16949 quality standards
- Working knowledge of measurement equipment
- Problem Solving
- Knowledge of product and processes
- Computer skills and math skills sufficient to perform department related tasks as required
- Ability to work effectively with people
- Ability to move throughout the plant
- The employee must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
