Quality Inspector

Job Summary
Interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering specifications to verify production requirements and tolerance limits. Perform inspections of incoming materials, first articles, in-process components, purchased parts, and finished products. Conduct testing and measurements to verify product dimensions, fit, appearance, and performance, including specialized hardness and holiday testing. Document inspection results, maintain accurate quality records, and coordinate the routing of nonconforming products for rework. Investigate quality concerns, communicate findings to production and leadership, and recommend improvements to quality standards and inspection processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
- Ability to perform measurements accurately
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and recordkeeping
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Ability to complete an audiogram test
