Job Summary

Conduct incoming, routine, finished goods, and outside process inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional, visual, and functional specifications. Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, quality records, and forms while ensuring outgoing products comply with required standards. Detect defective material, initiate reports, and assist in quarantine procedures. Administer approved changes to the quality system and support QA and ISO audits. Perform analysis on select processes to recommend updated workflows. Requires minimum two years' manufacturing quality experience, ability to work limited supervision, and adherence to safety policies in an environment with moderate noise and temperature variances.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and/or G.E.D
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing quality and inspection processes
  • Must be quality conscious and in continual pursuit of improvement
  • Exhibit core values of integrity and accountability
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, in a team environment and in a solo capacity
  • Demonstrates ability to read, write, speak, hear and interpret documents and instructions from both verbal and written English
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail, problem solving, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Possess data entry and computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite and ERP applications
  • Regularly required to use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and to reach with hands, arms and feet
  • Frequently required to talk and hear, to stand, walk or sit, to balance, stoop, and crouch
  • Occasionally required to push, pull, and/or safely lift various pieces of equipment or parts weighing up to 35 pounds from floor to table
  • Vision abilities (corrective or non) include close range, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to understand and comply with all company, safety and quality policies and procedures and advocate ISO system standards
