Job Summary
Quality Inspector position at Woodward in Niepolomice, Poland. Analyze drawings, routings, and manuals to determine specifications and testing procedures; collect, record, and analyze inspection data; inspect product dimensions using precision tools; verify and complete paperwork; identify non-conforming materials; issue certification labels following guidelines. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, aerospace industry experience (preferably MRO), strong ability to read drawings and GD&T (ASME Y14.5), familiarity with AS9100/AS9110 and FAA 145 regulations, proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, CMM), and willingness to relocate for 2 shifts. English and Polish communication skills and ability to train others are valued. The role is based in Niepolomice, Poland, and involves standard two-shift operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in Aerospace industry (preferably in MRO)
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, aircraft manuals and GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
- Thorough knowledge and ability to apply knowledge of quality systems such as, Aerospace Standard (AS9100/AS9110), FAA regulations (145)
- Additional experience in component overhaul and previous training and experience performing detailed inspection functions preferred
- Skilled in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, dial indicators CMM) for quality control
- Mobility and willingness to temporarily relocate
- Readiness to work on 2 shifts (6-14 & 14-22)
- Good written and verbal communication in English and Polish
- Ability to train others and collaborate effectively in teams
