Job Summary
Perform inspections and verifications on products, components, and processes using equipment from basic to complex, including in-process, first piece, and final checks. Conduct receiving inspections on raw materials and supplier receipts while documenting certifications and maintaining records of supplier performance. Implement and maintain AS & ISO Quality Management System systems and process non-conformances by interfacing with purchasing and other individuals. Gather quality data, present results, and recommend process improvements. Utilize ERP systems and customer portals to manage inspection data and work activities, while aiding operators in interpreting quality specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with gages and measurement techniques
- Able to understand and interpret blueprints, specifications, operations sheets, etc
- Understands Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- A genuine belief in continuous improvement and disciplined processes and a willingness to analyze, challenge and change processes, if needed, to create a more efficient environment and culture
- Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
