Job Summary
Ensure compliance to federal, state laws, and company standards by performing visual, functional, and dimensional inspections across all production stages. Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency and correct or escalate issues as needed. Follow all Tyber Medical, LLC Standard Operating Procedures and execute preventative maintenance activities. Requires basic understanding of calipers, micrometers, and hard gauging, plus working knowledge of fractions, ratios, and proportions. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and meet specific vision requirements including color and depth perception. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of using calipers, micrometers, hard gauging and other applicable inspection tools
- Basic working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
