Quality Inspector - 4th Shift - Weekend Days

Job Summary
Conduct visual and measurement tests on incoming, in-process, and finished materials to ensure compliance with quality standards. Perform line audits, complete dimensional checks, and document results in appropriate systems while following work instructions for consistent process quality. Assist in material evaluation, sorting, and reworking components, and participate in corrective action activities to enhance overall quality. Provide feedback for process improvements and stay updated on technical publications. This entry-level role supports the Quality Manager and team in maintaining product quality at the H-J Family of Companies in High Ridge, Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of inspection techniques and the use of measurement equipment, including Micrometers and Calipers
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and perform dimensional measurements to ensure products meet specifications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to complete projects on schedule
- Willingness to learn and grow with increased responsibility
- 4th Shift - Weekend Days is Fri, Sat, Sun, 3 12-hr shifts, 6:45am - 6:45pm
- Weekend shift works 36 hours, with shift premium pay and full-time benefits. No overtime available
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Opportunity to acquire an operator fork trucks license, or other material handling equipment, to remove and return components and/or finished goods from warehouse locations
